Jihadists fighting for ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) claim that they are following the commands of Allah and Muhammad. Yet Westernised Muslims, naive politicians, and the media insist that ISIS is violating the principles of Islam. Who’s right?
Why did ISIS attack and kill Yazidi people then took some of them captive and converted them to Islam?
Qur’an 9:5 – Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, [means conversion to Islam] then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
Why did ISIS capture and enslave Yazidi and Christian women in Iraq and raped them?
Qur’an 33:50 – Prophet, We have made lawful for you your wives whom you have given their dowry, slave girls whom God has given to you as spoils of war…
Qur’an 4:24 – Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (captives and slaves) whom your right hands possess. Thus has Allah ordained for you.
Why is ISIS cutting the hands of thieves?
Qur’an 5:38 – Cut off the hands of thieves, whether they are male or female, as a punishment from God for what they have done. God is almighty and wise.
Why is ISIS beheading the unbelievers/infidels/?
Qur’an 47:4 – When you encounter the unbelievers, strike off their heads [behead], until you have made a great slaughter among them; …
Qur’an 8:12 – When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
Why is ISIS asking for a ransom not to behead the unbelievers?
Qur’an 47:4 – When you encounter the unbelievers, strike off their heads, until you have made a great slaughter among them; and bind them in bonds: And either give them a free dismission afterwards, or exact a ransom; until the war shall have laid down its arms.
Why is ISIS beheading, crucifying, cutting the hands and feet of people?
Qur’an 5:33 – Indeed, the punishment of those who fight Allah and His Messenger and who go around corrupting the land is to be killed [by beheading], crucified, have their hands and feet cut off on opposite sides, or to be banished from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this life, and in the life to come theirs will be a terrible punishment.
Why do Jews and Christians pay Jizyah (Extortion tax) to ISIS to protect their lives and property?

Why are Muslims joining ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Boko Haram and Al-Shabaab to do Jihad?

Why rich Muslim states like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Arab Emirates fund ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Taliban?
Qur’an 9:41 – Go out to fight, whatever your circumstances or desires, and do jihad with your wealth and yourselves in the Way of Allah. That is better for you if you only knew.
Qur’an 9:20 – Those who believed and emigrated and carried out Jihad in the way of Allah with their wealth and lives are greater in rank in the sight of Allah, and it is they who are the successful.
Why are ISIS militants deluded in thinking that they can defeat anybody?
Qur’an 8:65 – O Prophet, urge believers on to fight! If there are twenty disciplined men among you, they will overcome two hundred, while if there are a hundred of you, they will defeat a thousand of those who disbelieve, since those are folk who do not understand.
Qur’an 9:14 – Fight against them so that Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people.
Why are ISIS militants/Jihadists willing to die? Does Paradise await them?
Qur’an 9:111 – God has purchased from the believers their very lives and their wealth, that they will have the Paradise; they fight in the cause of God so they kill and are killed; a promise that is true upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And whoever fulfills this pledge with God, then have good news of the pledge which you are concluded with. Such is the great triumph.
Qur’an 3:195 – …those who emigrated and were driven out from their homes, and suffered harm in My Cause, and who fought, and were killed (in My Cause), verily, I will remit from them their evil deeds and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise); a reward from Allah, and with Allah is the best of rewards.
Qur’an 3:157-158 – If you should die or get killed in the cause of Allah, His forgiveness and mercy will be far better than all the riches you could gather.
Qur’an 3:169 – And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.
Qur’an 4:74-75 – Let it be known that only those people should fight in the cause of Allah who are willing to exchange the life of this world for the Hereafter; and whoever fights for the cause of Allah, whether he dies or is victorious, will soon be granted a mighty reward.
Qur’an 4:104 – And don’t be weak in the pursuit of the enemy; if you are suffering (hardships) then surely, they (too) are suffering (hardships) as you are suffering, but you have a hope from Allah (for the reward, i.e. Paradise) that for which they hope not, and Allah is Ever AllKnowing, AllWise.
Why does ISIS kill its own militants if they don’t fight?
Qur’an 9:38-39 — Believers, why, when it is said to you, ‘Go and fight in God’s way,’ do you feel weighed down to the ground? Do you prefer this world to the life to come? How small the enjoyment of this world is, compared with the life to come! If you do not go out and fight, God will punish you severely and put others in your place, but you cannot harm Him in any way: God has power over all things.
Qur’an 8:15-16 — Believers, when you meet the disbelievers in battle, never turn your backs on them: if anyone does so on such a day- unless maneuvering to fight or to join a fighting group- he incurs the wrath of God, and Hell will be his home, a wretched destination!
Why is ISIS fighting against the Unbelievers (non-Muslims)?
Qur’an 3:32 – Say: Obey Allah and the Apostle; but if they turn back, then surely Allah does not love the unbelievers.
Qur’an 9:73 – Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home: an evil fate.
Qur’an 4:101 – …When you travel in the earth, there is no blame on you if you shorten your prayers, especially when you fear that the unbelievers may attack you, since the unbelievers are your open enemies.

Qur’an 4:138 – Give tidings to the hypocrites that there is for them a painful punishment.
Qur’an 33:61 – If the hypocrites, and those with disease in their hearts and those who spread lies in the city do not refrain, then We will let you overpower them, then they will not be able to remain as your neighbours except for a short while. Accursed wherever they are found, [being] seized and massacred completely.
Why Islamists cause terror and kill people in Europe and America?
Qur’an 9:123 – Believers, fight/kill the unbelievers near you for the cause of God so that they realize your strength and know that God is with the pious ones.
Qur’an 8:12 – I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve.
What about the peaceful verses in Qur’an? Is ISIS misinterpreting the Qur’an?
Qur’an 9:29 says Jews and Christians have three options: convert, pay Jizya (extortion tax) or die.
Qur’an 9:5 says that people who are not Jewish or Christian (Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto, Atheist, Pagan etc.) have two options: convert or die.
Qur’an 2:106 – Whatever a Verse (revelation) do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it. Know you not that Allah is able to do all things? (Also see Qur’an 16:101)
Qur’an 16:101 – When We exchange a verse for another and Allah knows best what He is sending down they say: ‘You are but a forger.’ No, most of them do not know.
According to these verses 2:106 and 16:101, Allah can replace or abrogate (cancel) verses. Chapter 9 in Qur’an is known to be last chapter revealed to Muhammad, therefore this chapter abrogates (cancels) over hundred tolerant verses in Qur’an. Whichever verse came last is said to abrogate (or cancel) earlier revelations.
Chapter 9 is called Sura at-Taubah or Sura al Bara’at.
Sahih Bukhari – Volume 5, Book 59, Hadith 650
Narrated Al-Bara: The last Sura which was revealed in full was Baraa (i.e. Sura-at-Tauba), and the last Sura (i.e. part of a Sura) which was revealed was the last Verses of Sura-an-Nisa’:– “They ask you for a legal decision. Say: Allah directs (thus) About those who have No descendants or ascendants As heirs.” (4.177)

Abu Ishaq said that he heard al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib say: The last verse revealed (in the Holy Quran) is that pertaining to Kalala, and the last sura revealed is Sura al-Bara’at.
Finally, there are no tolerant verses in the Qur’an because Allah has replaced and abrogated them. Non-Muslims are being deceived by the abrogated tolerant verses because they are not aware that Chapter 9 (9:5, 9:29, 9:73, 9:123) cancels all the tolerant verses.
